Harnessing the high-capacity, super-selective nature of MOFs, our Nuada carbon capture technology literally vacuums CO2 from flue gas. This use of pressure instead of heat to release the captured CO2, is significant as it results in game-changing energy benefits.
When compared to state-of-the-art amine scrubbing solutions, Nuada cuts energy consumption by up to 80%. Our secret is the combination of mature vacuum swing technology and a novel high-capacity MOF material.

Designed for practicality, Nuada’s VPSA technology means it is compact and modular. It utilises existing supply chains making it readily scalable, easily accommodating specific capacity requirements.

MOFs - a tailormade solution to carbon capture
Nuada’s unprecedented performance is driven by our MOF. Metal-organic frameworks are highly engineered filters that capture and remove CO2. They’re comprised of bespoke chemistries to target Carbon Dioxide specifically and therefore provide unparalleled CO2 removal.
Having pioneered the commercialisation of MOF-based solutions for over a decade, MOF Technologies have established an industry-leading, fully integrated process to product development. This know-how is what has enabled us to simultaneously produce this MOF at tonne-scale whilst creating our Nuada carbon capture system in-house.
Chartering a path toward net-zero
Nuada overcomes the energy barrier that has stalled the wide-spread adoption of CCUS and will prove transformational in numerous hard to abate industries as well as enabling the production of low carbon hydrogen.
