Dr Paschal McCloskey, CEO of MOF Technologies, has been invited to give a keynote speech at the ‘Fundamentals and Applications of Advanced Porous Materials‘ Conference in Adelaide, Australia this month.
The event, which runs from the 8th to 10th of December, will showcase current research activity in the study of porous materials. Given the growing number of existing and potential new applications for metal organic framework (MOF) technology, Dr McCloskey’s keynote is likely to be well attended.
Dr Paschal McCloskey keynote presentation titled “MOF Technologies – From Start Up to Scale Up” will cover the journey of the company from spinning out from a university laboratory through to launching the world’s first MOF product and scaling their innovative production process to industrial scale. “This is yet another great opportunity for MOF Technologies to show the research community worldwide just how much progress we are making,” he said. “The incredibly diverse list of experts who have agreed to participate in the event is also a welcome indication of the extent to which MOF tech has permeated nanomaterials research in recent years.”
The three-day event will focus on five key areas: fundamental study and new MOFs, new structures, modelling, applications & commercialisation of MOFs, and biological applications with speakers travelling from universities and research institutes from every corner of the globe to participate in the event being held in the southern Australian city of Adelaide.
